• 1st October to 7th October, zoo celebrates ” Wild Life Week “.
• 14th January to 30th January zoo celebrates ” Animal Welfare Fort Night “.

During this celebration zoo is organizing.

• Touch Table – In this programme we are allowing children to see and touch different articles of animals like Antlers, Porcupine quills, Emu egg, Snake skin, Peacock feathers and feather of different species of birds, this will teach children about identification of birds.
• Environment Education
• Free entry to school children upto the age of 12 years between 9 a.m. to 12 noon except on monday
• Animal Keepers Training Programme :
• Central Zoo Authority recognised Ahmedabad Zoo as a Western region training center and we are organising theme based training programme to Animal keepers of Western region zoos.
